Simple Light Data Text v9.0.2
SLDataText is a lightweight addon based on text based modules, which can be moved & customized independently or globally. It includes LibSharedMedia support for expanded font selection, and various degrees of mouse click interaction on various module frames. It also supports user-created plug-ins to expand on the module selection beyond what is included in this package. Plug-ins can be as vast or as tiny as desired. Included is are custom libraries (LibSL-1.0 and LibSLTip-1.0) that are used for module configuration menu management and interactive tooltips.
Each module can be positioned independently via dragging and placement can be fined tuned via the configuration menu. Fine tuning includes manual frame anchoring, text justification, X/Y value tweaking, and frame strata value.
Each module has an independent configuration menu, and the AddOn has a global menu to handle unified font types & sizes. The following modules are contained in this package:

Texts aren't inheriting their parent frame's visibility. For instance, I have my texts parented to the Minimap frame, but if the minimap is hidden via Minimap:Hide(), the texts stay visible.
Perhaps an option to toggle inheriting the parent's visibility? edit: Got this error after updating to 3.1.2: Code:

It doesn't show the clock on my screen. Clock settings are in default aswell. Could you fix this or tell me how to? |

Is there any way currently to hide tooltips while in combat? Annoying to scroll over that guild thing while in combat and have it pop up in your face.

I'll just have to dump both those modules and use the fubar versions then, as I prefer seeing the officer note (our guild has the persons real name in it, we are a friendly guild so we address each other normally - and I have a lousy memory ) and for friends, my notes simply say '{Person's name} - {Class}' (Rather short). I may get used to not seeing player notes, but I can't live with not seeing Guild Officer Notes. (They can sometimes have important information) Thanks for the switch but, the pulse gets annoying at times Durability: What I mean is, have it on, but prompt before doing so. The fubar addon I used to use, did this: Auto Repair on + prompt before repairing. I can do without the prompt, no problem, just would of been nice |

Clock: I can add an option for Pulse on/off. Durability: There is already an option in configuration for turning Auto-Repair off. |

Just started using this addon with my new UI design.
Couple of requests but (since I'm coming off a couple of fubar addons, and I'm used to them). Friends Module: Player note in the tooltip would be nice (shift+click is too much) Guild Module: Showing of the Officer's Note would be nice (for those that have permission to do so) Edit: Clock: Option to disable the pulse effect Durablity: The Auto-Repair I assume to automatic (IE: No Promoting), possible to have a prompt? I'd add them myself, but I know nothing of LUA (and don't really want to learn at this moment in time) Great mod otherwise
