This is from now on a loosely maintained addon, as I currently don't play actively at this time.

Karma - player tracking
----------------------------------

If you know you met this player once before but can't remember if s/he was good or bad... Karma is for you.

Karma allows you to track where you hung around with other people, what quests you completed (or just made progress) with them, and you can add notes for specific information worth remembering (the good, the bad and the ugly...)
And the Karma value is for your overall impression, how much you liked grouping with them. (E.g. you can sort the list of people you met by the Karma value, so the "nicer" people are listed first.)

It adds a minimap button which you can left-click to open the main window, middle-click to open the new LFM window. (You can also configure a key mapping for that in the normal keyboard configuration of WoW. Personally, I use shift-K/shift-L.)

It also got some LDB support in version 30102.D (but I never tried it on large raids to see if the tooltip is not too large - your mileage may vary).

(KarmaTrans is a helper AddOn to store extra stuff. You don't need to enable it usually.)

You can just disable it for Karma... (DockingStation->Plugins->Tooltip, select Karma on the list, uncheck defaults, uncheck allow scaling) :-)

It's still weird, because the tooltips of various LDB brokers should not at all intermix. Must be a weird combination of another broker and Karma broker's actions.

It would really help if you could nail down which other broker is the twin of this operation...
While keeping Karma's broker enabled at all times and after copying your WTF folder (so you don't need to remember the original states of all addons):
Disable brokers A-M, try if it works. If N-Z does not work, it's one of those, so keep A-M disabled and disable N-S (so only T-Z is active) and re-check (Good => N-S set has the culprit, Bad => T-Z set has the culprit). If N-Z does work, it's one of the A-M set, so disable N-Z and enable A-H (so only A-H is active) and re-check (Good => I-M set has the culprit, Bad => A-H set has the culprit).
Splitting this way four times should leave less than 5 candidates.

but it only breaks when karma is enabled....

It's hard to imagine that Karma breaks the tooltips of other addons.
DockingStation itself seems to have some trouble with tooltips. But it works for me, as long as I don't tell it to "allow scaling" of tooltips. Do you have that enabled? Does disabling it fix the issue?

Thought maybe it was a problem with the site, then I realized Coren is the author of both addons, so it's understandable. Probably just misclicked when he made the zip.

In fact, it stops completely. It will literally freeze when I press the mouse button down, I take a guess at how far I want to move the mouse (nothing moves during this time, not even the cursor) and when I release my mouse only then does everything resume. It looks like this addon is using 100% of the CPU while using the slider. Even clicking on the arrows at the end that increment karma by +/- 1 will cause a short freeze. Any chance you could take a look at this?

I was wondering however, if a history feature could be implemented. You could see why someone was down rated and if it was just by a griefer or someone genuine. At the moment I use it in organised PUGs (oxymoron FTW !) and we are thinking of putting up a website for people to sign up. However we wanted to add karma standings on the website but looking at the saved variables file means that you would need to hand write every person and their associated karma. Would it be possible to implement some way of transferring karma standings, and the notes attached, into some kind of text file so that it could be easily posted on a forum or something ? I'm not sure if its easier to print it into a php file but we can use that too.
