OPie is a radial action-binding addon: it lets you group actions into rings which appear when you hold down a keyboard or mouse binding. When you release the binding, OPie will perform an action based on where your mouse cursor is.
Use OPie to reduce the amount of clutter on your action bars: rings can contain your abilities, items, professions, battle pets, equipment sets, macros, and raid or world markers. Some rings for common class abilities and professions are included, as is a special quest items ring which automatically makes all of your quest and quest-starting items easily accessible. Other addons may add additional rings; for example, Spade uses OPie rings to let you chose the seeds you want to plant on your farm.
Download OPie today; configure to your liking (/opie), and customize your rings (/opie rings). For more details, see the OPie Guide, the screenshots here, or a YouTube video of OPie in action.
Ring snapshots and tutorial/gameplay videos
You can create snapshots of your custom rings to share with other players; if you like, you can post them in the comments section on this page. Likewise, if you've created a video showing how you use OPie, I would very much like to hear about it.
Bug reports and feature requests
If you encounter any problems while using OPie, or think of useful functionality to add to OPie, use the OPie ticket tracker if possible, or leave a comment here.

Re: indication feedback
I should also point out that this is a different issue from your original report, in which you suggested that the "icon is still showing a healing potion from the last time I was in combat" -- some sort of [combat], not [mod:stuff] malfunction. :/

The one specific macro that I'm having the most problem with is generted by tekkub's Buffet addon.
It uses item:##### strings instead of item names and includes a [mod:shift] section for bandages. When I bring up the Opie ring that has this macro in, the icon doesn't toggle between the food or the bandage icon when I'm pressing/releasing shift. |

Re: Things
ORI_ShowRing shows the indication UI rather than the secure ring button itself. (In retrospect, it should have been named ORI_OnShowRing).

Tap suggestion
I second the suggestion to add a center "slice" to overcome the tap issue. This would really complete oPie. I really really miss the tap feature, and would love to see it re-implemented in some way. oPie is one of my very favorite addons, and I feel empty inside without my beloved tap.

char specific bindings
Is there a way to set different profiles or different rings/bindings for more than one character?
I've been playing on my rogue and nothing else, set up 4 rings (drinks, poisons, trinkets and rogue-specific abilities). Those are bound on easily reacable buttons like 'q', Mouse3, 'ctrl+d' ... Now, when I wanted to play my hunter again, I had to create additional ring for other drinks/potions, abilities etc... which cannot be bound on those keys where I bound the rings with stuff only for the rogue. Any chance to have different profiles or char-specific bindings? oPie is really awesome and I wouldn't be able to play my main without it now - but at the same time it's useless for my second char :/ |

I had an idea, possibly something to replace the broken 'tap' feature, which I miss very much. Maybe make it so if you're holding down your bind combo, and right click, it does the 'tap' action. Otherwise, it functions normally. Make sense?

Great addon. I thought I would share a custom ring I have for the mini-buttons (spellbook, talents, etc). These are the "macros" I used for each button. I attempted to manually edit in the path to the actual button icons for each button, (the ones the game actually uses), but for whatever reason they appeared all distorted. Maybe the author can hard code in this ring.

Whats your UI?
Hi,
I downloaded OPie the Monday before 3.0.8 was released and was instantly addicted. So when the patch was applied the next day and OPie didn't work my world fell apart. Fortunately, you guys were on top of the update and normality was once again achieved. Thanks for the quick response and for a fantastic addon. One of the things that first attracted me to OPie was the demo video of the druid in Nagrand and the UI that was used. I like its minimalistic design and wish to apply it to my game. My question is: in addition to OPie what addons are being used to achive that clean UI in the demo video? Thanks, Jaov2k |

Macros and #showtooltip
I have a couple macros (consumables, mostly) that I use with [] conditionals and #showtooltip to give me a different action based on combat or shift-modifier.
Unfortunately the spell icons for macros that are in OPie don't seem to update based on these conditionals. Sometimes I can't tell if I'm going to drink a potion or eat some buff food because the icon is still showing a healing potion from the last time I was in combat. Is it possible to have an option to increase the icon refresh time? Or check on the displayed icon whenever the ring gets drawn? |

Excellent addon and thanks for the quick update with 3.0.8!
Question about buttonfacade/translucent settings: I personally prefer your translucent settings but have buttonfacade installed for my action bars. Is it possible to have Opie ignore the buttonfacade settings or is it if buttonfacade is installed I have to use it. It's not really a big issue, I was just wondering if it was possible. |
