Patch 1.13.2: World of Warcraft Classic

AbyssUI is a minimalist World of Warcraft interface. It change some parts of the interface to make the Blizzard UI more clean, minimalist and a bit of dark (or any color you want!).
You can choose any color you want, or use the presets.


Hi, I'm Yugen a brazilian that like to do this as a hobby (I did spend too much time editing textures tho lol, but I'm glad that it turned into a really nice UI). Hope you liked my Interface, if so, share with your friends, be my patreon or hit favorite. That mean you really liked my work and want me to continue. Thanks for all the support.

This works in the same way for Classic but the action bar is the big one.


PS: AbyssUI is lightweight, it will not make your PC/Game slow (file size is due to textures). For comparison, Windows Notepad use about 2MB of RAM, AbyssUI use 300KB (idle) up to 800KB (40+ raids). Also AbyssUI will mostly not conflict with any other AddOn or UI (rare to happen), so you are free to use a lot of modifiers.

Top 5 AddOns that I personally use and recommend using with AbyssUI Classic (I will update links if these addons get a classic version).
1- Threat Plates Classic; or KuiNameplates;
2- Dominos Classic; or Bartender4;
3- Bagnon;
4- Flash TaskBar;
5- Postal.

How to Install?
1- Extract the compact folder, and you will notice a folder named Interface;
2- In WoW folder make a backup of your old Interface folder (e.g rename to Interface.old);
3- Then copy the AbyssUI Interface folder to the WoW folder;
4- It's that simple, make sure to replace the Interface folder and not just the AddOn, sometimes I update static art frames for better resolutions and new stuff.

FAQ
- Portrait or textures are not working, or seems glitchy?
A: You are probably using a old texture version of AbyssUI, you need to download this version (from wowinterface) and things will be fixed.

- Is there a way to keep the frames like Blizzard default color?
A: In the interface folder there is a lot of textures, you can remove them (this will remove every texture that I changed from the original files, so a lot of things maybe lose their beauty). After that, choose the "Silver or Blizzard Default color" in the themes tab.

- Some texture are looking/acting weird?
A: This could be caused by Blizzard default textures, or even my UI textures got corrupted, the first thing to do is to delete all AbyssUI files (even the textures) see if it fixes in the original and re-install the UI again. If the bug persist, you could try to remove the textures and see if it got fixed, then report it to me with a screenshot, it's easier to find/understand the problem this way.

- Texture/Image is not right, or the blizzard portrait is not working by default?
A: Delete all the textures and the AddOn and re-install the interface from "zero". I change textures sometimes, if you just replace folders it will not work, you need to do a fresh installation.

- Why the file is 50MB+ ?
A: There is a lot of textures (dark borders, icons, and all), this make the file bigger, but it doesn't change anything in the performance of the game/computer.


Flat Player Icons is the texture pack that I used as a base for this UI portraits (have a lot of modifications).

Clean Icons - Thin is the icon pack used in my UI (thank you for this amazing icon pack, I can't even imagine all the work behind this).

You will need to create frames, if you never did something like this, try to test the codes they put in here, and see what happen, mess around with that. Also send me a pm here in wowI, I will help you from there. I'm short on time sorry, so I can't help right now, and comment section is not the best place for that.

You need to create a texture for that and name it one of my options texture names.

To do that, you need to convert one of the "UI-CLASSES-CIRCLES" tga files to png from the folder TargetingFrames inside Interface folder. Then you can edit the way you like and covert it again to tga with the same name, and replace it inside that folder.

Hello, thank you beri, I will add this option in the next update. Thank you for let me know, I don't have the time to test everything, so it's super important when people report those minor bugs.

Thanks for the addon and the port. I saw you added guilds to nameplates a while ago and I'm wondering if it's possible to get a hide toggle for this in the options because for most people who use a nameplate addon this means having the guild shown twice.

I will add a option to keep nameplates blizzard default.

To change this open the AddOn lua file "AbyssUIClassic_FunctionsExtras.lua", in the line 14 change this:

Hello pskmac, I didn't change anything in the mood of pet, maybe is a blizzard problem? or maybe another addon. That's really weird, but I'm sure, I didn't changed anything in the texture. But to make sure, go to wow classic folder -> Interface -> Rename "PetStableFrame" folder to "PetStableFrame.old", reload the game and check if is still having this problem. It's the only texture that I have about pet.

Blizzard have the option to always show HP bars text. Go to in game Interface -> Display -> Status Text -> Both.

Maybe next week I'm free to make the changes, this week I'm too busy. x.x

Type this /run PlayerFrame:SetScale(1.2) in the chat if you want larger frames to the player portrait (Change "Player" to target if you want target to be larger too), I'll check if this doesn't mess with my textures, also add a option to do this in the config panel.

Hey there again..

I see in the change log that max nameplate distance was changed.. can this be disabled? I am seeing nameplates from Africa and its literally cluttering my whole screen..

Over here the image which shows pet mood at UI and at character sheet at pet tab.
I also enlarged player UI just to show what I mean. I wanted to change this one only, without changing entire UI scale (as I do using standard wow UI scaling).

This is weird, the Unitframes (player, pet, etc) should be bigger with the wow UI scale in the blizzard options. Tbh idk if I can add that, it may broke the entirely UI, because I modified some textures and all. But I will take a look on it.

I like the style of addon, but I would really like an option to just disable all of the little enchancements - the chat minimize button, the different target healthbar colors, etc. It would be awesome if there was an option to just modify the frame colors and keep everything else default.
