I'm very proud to present you my personal user interface.
As you can see it is based on the Caith UI.
I'm using it with a screen resolution of 2560x1440 (27 inch).
and its optimized for DPS and TANK spec.

1440p version since 8.0!
1080p not fully supported - see workaround in changenotes


Here you can find a small preview video very soon.

1080p is no longer supported natively. For 1080p you can use v7.7.3 or try this workaround:
Type the following into the chat if you're using a screen resolution of 1920x1080:

/run UIParent:SetScale(0.5333333333333333)


Unfortunately you won't achieve pixel perfection and there are texture glitchs, but so far I haven't found a better solution.

HINT:

Since I switched to a WQHD monitor (1440p), this is the last version with 1080p support.
The next update with 1440p support is already in the works, but I can't say at the moment whether it will be compatible with a resolution of 1920x1080.
You can still use this version, if necessary you have to update your AddOns if there are problems.

When the 1440p version is ready, I will check if simple a "port" is possible.
If this turns out to be too complex, I don't have the time to work on an independent 1080p version.

I am aware that many of you are still playing with a resolution of 1920x1080, but everything is evolving and so Yulu UI has to take this step now.

At this point I would also like to thank you for more than 5000 downloads. :)

Hi. What you see in my screenshot is realized with WeakAura.
It is supposed to show a display for the most important buffs/dots etc. of a class. Since I'm currently only playing the enhancement shaman, I only have the buff display for this spec ready.

BUT:
You can easily create your own display:

Just copy the WeakAura group "SHAMAN_Enhancement" and change the triggers to match your class/spec/buff/whatever.

If I have the time and the desire, I'll create this ad for other classes, too.

I'm trying to figure out what addon is controlling this short buff shown in the screenshot. It's not Raven and I don't see it as a weak aura. Ignore the player unit frame being moved, I just moved it temporarily to get the screenshot as the player unit frame was slightly over it.

Update: I found it. It's LoseControl addon if anyone else is looking for it.

I do have a follow-up question. In your screenshot you show buffs above your player unit frame and target frame, which I assume is/was handled by Raven. However, in the latest version I see Ravens buffs and debuffs are pretty much in the default spots. Is that expected? The current profile is set to YuluUI

I'm sorry it's not working out so well with your resolution. If I had more time, I would try to support multiple resolutions.
Looks better than I expected with this exotic resolution.

You can move the quartz-castbars over /quartz, that's not very difficult, just adjust the X coordinates until the castbar is flush with the playerframe or targetframe.
If necessary move the focus-castbar and the mirrorbars.

KGPanels can be a bit tricky if you have never worked with them before, I can understand that.

Thanks. I ended up removing the panels. They would not move easily and I'm not familair with using kgpanels.

I played around with other items, and I definitely have some work to do. Hekill is not scaled properly, and the castbar is off. This is to be expected with my resolution. I really love what you have done with this, so as soon as I have time, I really need to dig in and get everything to fit correctly.

In KGPanels, how do I fix that frame? There are so many to choose from, I don't know which one to try.

Just downloaded and installed the latest version. Typed /reflux switch YuluUI. Now my screen looks like the following screenshot. My resolution is 3440 x 1440. I have this big black box. Is there a simple way to fix this?

Yeah, I must admit that was more of an experiment. The chat was already quite small before, but I liked it so much. Now I made the whole interface a little bit smaller. I think it's just a matter of time until you get used to it.
If I don't like it any more, it might be possible that some parts of the interface get bigger again.


You can also enlarge the frames that are too small for you.

/prat -> Here you can adjust the font size of the chat
/kgpanels -> ChatFrame / ChatFrameGrey / ChatFrameShadow -> There you can enlarge the frame of the chat window (can be a bit fiddly)
/kt config -> Here you can adjust the font size of the quest tracker

Have fun with Yulu UI, I enjoyed the development very much, but it was also a long exhausting way to get here. I really invested a lot of time.

Just as an anecdote:
For the initial design that I developed during the Warlords of Draenor expansion, I bought myself some game time just to work on the UI for a whole month. At that time I was still pretty nooby about UI design.
The first rework, where I knew roughly how to do it, but still had to try out a lot, took me several days.
7.0 was similar, but I had only tried to rebuild the Caith UI. Now I wanted to grow beyond that and take it further.
The 8.0 "rework" simply took me four days! I was off duty, got up, had breakfast, went to the UI and fell back into bed in the evening. A little crazy when I think about it.
But I had a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to the feedback of the users.

Sehr geiles UI! Echt klasse!

To be fair I thought I would never ever find a good looking, all-around ready for raiding/m+, which is suited for 1440p (pixel perfect).

You made it my dude! I didn't even miss ElvUI for a single second.

Font for Quests and Chat are a little small but I understand it's difficult a pixel perfect font.

Regarding WA's I need a little more but it's easy to setup, especially because the borders and fonts are already set up!

Excellent job I hope we are lucky enough that you stay so that we can take advantage of your UI Skills .

So...about your questions...

No I don't have a discord for my UI yet. I'm will think about it!

In this version (8) there are only WA for enhancement shaman, class-ressources and some other stuff. I will add other classes in the future (mostly when I'm playing them by myself). Its pretty easy to create them by your own. Simply copy the enhancement aura, and replace the shaman spells with yours.

There are no plans to bring my WA to wago.io at the moment.

So..what more to say?
