It is common knowledge that the out of combat timer is 'dynamic', but it can be predicted by tracking energy ticks. That is what this addon does. It displays the estimated time until you drop combat and it is pretty damn good at it. You can use that information to prevent getting CC'ed out of combat, know when you can stealth or drink.

Configurable via Interface->Addons->CombatTimer or /combattimer menu

Notes:

• This addon works best for energy and mana using classes. Every time you enter combat the timer will start. This initial timer will not be the most accurate, because it has to sync first through regenerating mana/energy.
• The addon does not support classes that do not use mana or energy, because it is hard to track their ticks.

• Frost trap effect keeps you combat while you stand on top of it. This will cause the timer to loop infinitely and become innacurate.
• Mass Dispel will always reset the ooc timer, eventhough the reset will not always be warranted. This is caused by the limitation of combat log events not showing if someone got caught in the mass dispel.
