Useful additions to make a Hunter's life even easier!
*NOTE: To move buttons, first hold ALT then drag the first button.

INCLUDES:

ZAspect, ZTrap, ZTrack, ZPet
Spell button bars to save space.
Hold ALT to Drag the first button.
Key Bindings available for all buttons.
Use /zhunter to access options.

ZAutoShot
Casting bar for auto shot.
Use /zautoshot to lock/unlock the bar for movement.

ZAutoStrip
Button to strip your valuable gear.
Right-click to auto strip when you next leave combat (feign).
Hold ALT to Drag the strip button.
Use /zstrip to access the options.
Possible commands: display, toggle, or now

ZArcaneDispel
Shows which spell you remove from the enemy.
Use /zhunter to access options.

ZHunterTranq
Cooldown bars for other Hunter's Tranq Shot.
Shows misses and includes options to announce in chat.
Hold ALT to Drag the frenzy bar around.
Use /ztranq while a Hunter is selected to add it to the rotation.
To reset and hide the bars, use: /ztranq clear

ZMisdirect
Broadcast your misdirection casts in multiple channels.
Use /zhunter to customize

ZFreezeFail
Broadcast when your freezing trap fails.
Use /zhunter to customize

ZAntiDaze
Removes Cheetah and Pack when you or your party gets dazed.
Use /zhunter to turn on/off

ZPetAttack
Key Binding to have pet attack or return if already attacking.

ZPetObey
Key Binding to have pet stay or follow.

Feature Request

In the same way that you have FD on the traps menu, can you add True Shot Aura to the Aspects? In 2.3 this will be a toggle and makes sense that I can set it like an aspect.

Known Issue

Oh yea, I forgot to mention that you'll have to readjust the size of the button.
Don't be alarmed.

Trueshot Aura will be there in the next release.
Guess I'll also add Eagle Eye somewhere.

2.3.0 beta

One issue I noticed with the 2.3.0 beta (which I'm using on the live server) is that the "count" on the Trap Bar seems to be off. I don't show the FD button, so that means the count should be "5". However, I have to put it on "6" to show all 5 traps and on "7" to show the FD button (so I set it on "6").

And, one request - I hate the full tooltips... as I position my Aspect and Trap Bars right above my two action bars. Any chance of an option to show the old, smaller tooltip? Or even no tooltip? (I know what they do...)

Anyone else having trouble getting the latest zhunter to show up at all? I've deleted my saved variables, did a clean install of the zhunter folder, but the buttons are not showing up anywhere on the screen. I've got a huge list of addons, but they all worked fine with it until this latest update, and I didn't add anything new.

Use the /zhunter options to adjust the size of the buttons.
Set the scale to 1 and go from there.

Well I loaded the game without it enabled through the addons panel at the character load screen, then enabled it with my addon control panel and reloaded the ui. Well, here is the result... this is after another cleaning of the zhunter files and folder.

Well I was surprised to see that my buttons had gone when I loaded the game tonight and was curious where they went. After messing with the size slider I found that for some reason they had been shoved off screen and that by decreasing the size the returned to their normal position on my screen... problem sort of resolved there since I can't get exactly 1 since the slider only changes in increments of 3, so it's either .98 or 1.1... no real big deal there, just me.

Two things I'd like to see changed though if possible, and it could be a configuration I missed when resetting everything so correct me if I missed something.

1. Have and option to disable the tooltips. The way I have the bars situated on my screen when I mouse over to choose a trap/aspect/track the tooltip overshadows everything on the bar and I can't see what I'm choosing so I end up loosing a bit of time trying to find what I'm looking for.

2. Re-enable the options in the petbar so that when your pet is dead it automatically changes to raise pet and if it's dismissed to call pet. I liked that feature and have gotten so used to it, it was weird that it wasn't there.

Stings?

Zanzer, would it be possible to add a "sting bar" that included a main button and reordered on use? in most fights there is only one sting you'll be using throughout the fight but it is sometimes viper, sometimes (mostly) scorpid. Adding a stings bar with a main button would allow a single keybind to the current sting. One addition to this would be to allow a reorder of the list prior to the fight (clicking a sting without a target reorders the list without shooting it).

It seems like the aspect bar broke in the last build (it doesn't switch back and forth between the two last used aspects).

That feature was removed because you could simply make a macro on your own:
/cast Aspect of the Hawk
/cast Aspect of the Monkey

That's it.

Oct 18:
Made the tooltips act like default tooltips: If you have Enhanced Tooltips enabled, you'll get the full spell tooltip. Otherwise, just the spell name.
Added a quick fix for the internal sizing change. Buttons should no longer appear huge when transfering over from the older version.

Is there any way we can convince you to re-add that feature back in? I understand you can make a macro, but I have so many macros right now that I'd rather not add more to my toolbar if I can use one mod for everything aspect, trap, tracking, and pet related. I know you can shoot this request down, but it's one of the features I've gotten used to and enjoy.

Also, re-enable the same function for Call, Mend, and Raise. Thanks.

Could someone explain that macro?

The way it used to work is that it switched between the last two... that means it dynamically changed based on what I was using....no macro can duplicate that.

Second, how will the macro Zanzer provided toggle the aspects? I see it casting first one, then the other (leaving you with viper all the time).

And since we're petitioning for old features... Please put in a "main button" for traps so that I can hotkey the last trap used. Once again this allows me to dynamically switch between the traps).

You guys are killing me here.

I admit the pet button was useful.
I suppose the aspect button saved yet another action slot.

... /sigh

I guess I'll even look into allowing you to dynamically changing the first button for Traps and Stings without going into the options.

BTW Lindalas, the macro would cast the first spell. As you know, if you already has the aspect on and you cast it again, it simply removes it. The macro then casts the second spell.
Of course if the first spell was not on, it would cast it. Since macros are only allowed to cast one spell that activates the global cooldown, the second spell would not be cast in that case.
So it effectively toggles between the two aspects.
