  • Scrap revision based force disable code. it's been tried 3 different ways and it's always broken in some way. Instead. add a bunch of annoying messages in various places about being out of date (with no disable). exception is force disable will now ALWAYS run if PTR/Beta, because testing that with old mods is just hard no. Or a major patch. These two situations will always automatically disable DBM if it's out of date regardless of revision. All other situations, there will just be a lot of nagging with no disable. If this these chat message nags prove to be ineffective, more aggressive nags will be implimented. The force update by revision code wasn't scrapped because I believe users should ignore updates, I just couldn't get it to work the way i wanted without uglier and uglier hacky code that rarely worked right, so exploring different ways of doing it til something that isn't broken is found that gets the job done (gets users to update mods when important updates are available)

    Also fixed bug that's existed for quite some time if GetUnitIdFromGUID is called by bossModPrototype. The reason this bug was never caught is because this function is pretty much never used on non boss unitId targets on retail.

    Changed wicked blade to on by default
    Don't cancel timers on stone forms, because bosses stay active now.
  • Fix a couple minor missing things/bugs before testing

hi,

there seems to be an issue in the way DBM versions are posted here, the main page shows 8.2.20, which is also what i get from the download button - but that version is vastly outdated. the current version is 8.3.20, available under "files"!

DBM version confusion

Hi,

It seems that the version numbers between WoWI and the DBM website aren't in sync. The changelog for Version: 8.0.14 r18052 here is the same as for Version: 8.0.15 r18057 on the DBM website: https://www.deadlybossmods.com/forum/app.php/news#p1148

I also received an in-game notification that my version was out of date. I use WoWI Minion to keep my addons updated.

I want to disable all bars, "Small and Long" together, I remember doing this in the past, but I forgot how, I remember clicking one button and it's done, but now I can't for the life of me find this button, haha.

Some might think it's weird that I want to disable all bars, but actually I just want to use this addon for VEM, no bars needed for me, Thanks.

Mini Map Icon is now locked to the edge of the Mini-Map instead of free Floating. Could you change it back to Free Floating, I don't have any available "real estate" on the edge of my mini-map.

There is no viable way to report bugs for this addon. Registration on the official site is disabled and on curse you get redirected to a Discord channel. It's kinda hard to report bugs when the average user doesn't know where to go. Even the regular Bug reporting tool here on WOWInterface is disabled for DBM.

Chat Panel Configuration

Is there a way to designate all DBM Chat alerts to go to a certain Chat window/tab? They currently all default to the main window and it would be nice to have them all in their own confined tab. I don't want to stop the alerts, just move them to another pane.

Question Only Raid Bosses or Dungeons as well?

I am leveling via dungeons, would this mod help there or is there another mod that does cover them.

Or are dungeons considered so easy, mods like this are unnecessary?

How can I hear countdown voice above 5?

Hi I wanted to know if there is a way I can hear the countdown from 10 instead of 5. And Also if it's possible to hear it after 1 so when it goes to 0 it can say something like attack or whatever.

Hi I am not a dev but i think I can help you with your problem. Have you tried right clicking the boss health frame and unlocking it? Sorry if this does not help you.
