gmAutopsy

Version: 801-2018091101
by: gmarco [More]

gmAutopsy
(previously known as Autopsy)

A very simple death report.
It announces to a specified, user defined, channel how a (party/raid) player has died.

Requires a data broker display like chocolate bar, bazooka, ninjapanel, stat block, titan panel, docking station, buttonbin and more.

All the configurations are done via LDB.

The possible output channels are:

SELF: prints information only in player's chat.
GUILD / OFFICER: reports to the specified channel
GROUP: try to guess and reports to the right [ party|raid|instance_chat ] channel.
LDB: only show in tooltip

Hi,
can you explain better what you mean ?

Thanks.
Well it only reports the death after combat ends but I want it to happen during combat and I don't see any config options besides changing which channel it reports to.
Hi,
the addon should report the death as soon as it happens.

If you use the channel SELF it should works just fine and as expected. The problem with other channels are probably due to something related to the permission of writing in "public" channels or some buffering policies.
I have to check this iussue.

In the SELF channel you can also print the link and the escape codes while this is not possibile in the others channels.

I'll let you know.

Hi,
sorry about that. I have modified the addon description stating that the addon requires a data broker display like chocolate bar, bazooka, ninjapanel, stat block, titan panel, docking station, buttonbin and more.

These are usually a little top bar where the addon anchor itself. Then you can configure addon with left and mouse click.

Let me know.
