What is Boss Mod: Text-to-Speech?
Boss Mod: TTS plays on every important BossMod message a text-to-speech sound file, so you always now why your screen is flashing or what's going on around you.

The idea behind the whole thing: Messages are cool but a nice computer voice actually telling you what's happening at the moment is much better!

Boss Mod: TTS works with BigWigs, DBM and DXE.

Q&A:
I only want sound messages which are important to me
Boss Mod: TTS is hooking the message system of you Boss Mod. If you deactivate unimportant messages in your Boss Mod the sound messages are also deactivated.
Simple.

I want to add more sounds!
The sounds are limited to the messages of your Boss Mod. If a Boss Mod doesn't have a message about a special event, there is also no sound for it.

Can I replace the sounds?
Sure, you just need to copy your new sounds to the BossModTTS/Sounds folder and replace the old ones.

Like the idea, and ill be testing it in raid tonight.. Just something strange here, when i start the game theres no problem, but on a reloadui i get:

Message: Interface\AddOns\BossModTTS\BossModTTS.lua:4: Usage: EmbedLibrary(addon, libname, silent, offset): 'libname' - Cannot find a library instance of "AceTimer-3.0".

with under this some references to the only other addon i use that uses ace, and thats bagnon.

Without bagnon its something else, and this error does popup on load, not on reload:

Message: ...AddOns\BossModTTS\libs\AceEvent-3.0\AceEvent-3.0.lua:18: Cannot find a library instance of "CallbackHandler-1.0".

Hei man, this Addon is really awesome. As Healer I always stare at my Grid and cant really follow timers so well. This Addon makes me never miss a phase transition again. Thnx!

LittleWigs uses the message system of BigWigs, so it's already working with LittleWigs. There are just sounds missing for the events.

Dont know what else was wrong, but on 10man atleast it called out bone spikes like bonestorm and 2 secs later spikes..

And on boss 2 it didnt warn about the DnD on you.. Even tho there is a sound file for it. Is the spell ID different in 10 man to 25 man? Or are you not linking it to spell ID's but to events? if so, you have any idea of what to change?

Couldnt test 25man since we where kinda on LK allready...

DXE

Doesn't work for me, doesn't even throw up any errors.

I'm using DXE and it just prevents DXE from working at all;
Cannot use /dxe, /dxe config, neither see any timers during battle.

I have tried debugging the main TTS file where it checks the bossmod you are using, and it also seems to not be running any code in there.

Any ideas?

DXE and BossModTTS works fine for me. Are you sure, both addons are enabled and running? Does DXE work without BossModTTS?

Yes, I am using the latest alpha DXE and it works without BossModTTS, I disabled all addons except for dxe and bossmodtts, and dxe doesn't work when bossmodstts is enabled. It does work when I dont have bossmodtts enabled, its weird. I'll look into it a bit more.
