Naes-UI is a custom-compilation Interface with a stream-lined and optimized design built solely for the purpose of
maximizing player potential. All facets of the UI were hand-picked to increase productivity, reduce unnecessary eye travel,
while maintaining a small memory footprint. Don't be fooled though, productivity and beauty can be one and the same;
Naes-UI is living, breathing proof of that!

----------------------------------------------
Why Naes-ui?
----------------------------------------------
  • All classes and specs are fully supported at all times!
  • Pre-configured Grid set-ups for all healers
  • Threat plates setup to promote perfect tanking
  • Center-focused UI to maximize DPS and situational awareness
  • Afflicted3 Setup with all the new interrupts and other PvP-related cool-downs to give you an edge
  • Always up-to-date and bug free

----------------------------------------------
Installation
----------------------------------------------
Please note: Naes-UI was designed for a 1920x1080 resolution screen
and will look best when set at this resolution. Any 16:9
resolution (ex, 1600x900, 1366x768, 1280x720) should
work perfectly. With any other resolutions the UI will need to be modified.

I will be pushing out a second, 16:10 version of my UI soon. Stay tuned!

--->There's a read-me for a reason! I strongly recommend following it<---

Quick Install for advanced users:
  • back-up your WTF and Interface folders
  • Extract Naes-ui to your wow directory
  • Re-name necessary WTF folders
  • Restore YOUR settings by copy/pasting Config.wtf plus both sets of bindings-cache.wtf, config-cache.wtf, and macros-cache.txt (from your backup-WTF to the new WTF that you renamed)
  • Log into the game, Enable out-of-date addons, and enable class specific addons (see read-me!)
  • Enter world; Click the 'Yes' box to set Threat Plates as your Tidy Plates theme.
  • Move the UI-scale 2 notches to the left of default. VERY IMPORTANT STEP, must be done before anything else.
  • Type /reflux switch naes-ui
  • [BOOYA] Installation complete!

See the read-me for optional settings and for a detailed walk-through of the above steps.

My constantly-evolving To-Do list in approximate order of importance:
  1. Make a 16:10 version
  2. Finish setting up pvp-related addons such as bg timers and arena frames
  3. Stream-line ToT and ToToT (ie, give them their own legit texture and spot in the UI)
  4. Fix some of the conjunctions between variable frames (ex. pet frames, player cast).
  5. Fix the pom indicator on grid to only show the player's PoM.
  6. Finish Grid for all specs (done for all healers, custom dps/tank profiles to come)
  7. Add custom background to tooltips
  8. Look into Altoholic or another inventory tracking addont that uses less memory
  9. Change bag addon if desirable
  10. Finish power auras for all the classes and specs.
  11. Blacklist various 'spammy' debuffs that have no real impact on combat decisions.
  12. Make a custom Timer Texture for Power auras
  13. Finish adding pvp related notifications to grid
  14. Look into SmartRes2 or another coordinated res addon
  15. Look for more interesting and informative uses for dog tags around the UI
  16. Fix/change the tooltip
  17. add SBF filtering
  18. setup aura-ext for grid for buffs/debuffs
  19. Switch pitbull4 to lua text
  20. Look at GridStatusDirectionArrows
  21. Look for new and exciting broker addons
  22. look into other eclipse addons; BalancePowerTracker BlizzardEclipseBar

If you have more suggestions let me know.

Gonna give it a whirl

Looks promising, and I'm pretty picky about my UIs . I'll be giving it a try when I get home for lunch today.

Very neat. I like this UI a lot. But I was having problems with Recount; it appears that it is picking up players in the same zone as me, but not in my party.

EDIT: Also, the text edit box where I would type in chat appears to 'work' but its appearance is being blocked by a random gray bar that appears, making it impossible to see what I am typing. It looks like the layering is backwards or something.

I'll fix that as soon as possible (ie in an hour :P). Or you can fix it yourself in the meantime by typing "/kgpanels config" go to active panels, then panel "Left_chat_box" scroll down a bit and set the level to 1. Should fix that.

As for recount, it's setup like that on purpose because i like to be able to evaluate players that i may or may not be in group with me (ie, people i did randoms with after group disband or people in bgs). If you dislike that feature then you can disable it by shift-right clicking on the recount button and then un-checking the first box for "ungrouped." If people seem to dislike that being set then I'll turn it off for future updates. However, i think if you get used to it being different than the original recount settings, you'll start to enjoy the information.

That's an error with a single addon's feature. The rest of the UI works perfectly fine and even that addon operates.

Just ignore the error. It has no impact on anything. But if you wish to turn that addon off on the addon screen it's called Broker_Transit.

well the reason i say its completely broken its because when i did the /reflux comand it didn't i still had default blizzard frames bunch of stuff in the middle of my screen .. is that addon causing all those other addons to break?

Did you type the command perfectly with proper capitalization and the dash?

it should look just like this:

/reflux switch naes-ui

Copy and paste that line in game.

Edit: And no, the error has nothing to do with it.

You have to move the Dockstation yourself it seems. You have to unlock them, then move them over to where they need to be. Just make sure you click on the blue/green rectangle itself, and not the text inside it, otherwise you'll move the text and not the dock. Here's a screenshot of where to (un)lock the dock:

EDIT: Looks like above is an easier method :P However, I had the same issue and changed the ui scale before the /reflux.

That's an issue with the addon if you switch the UI-scale after you do the reflux command. It's important to change the ui-scale first then type the command. However, i foresaw people doing this so i provided a second profile for docking station.

How to fix the docking station bars if they seem out of place:
type: /dockingstation
expand it (click the plus sign)
Go to profiles
Switch the existing profile to "naesui" (no dash in the name)

I apologize, I did not read the comment that you updated before I posted this! Thank you!

I made the change you suggested on Recount, however, those players are still appearing on the data. A reload did not fix the trick either. =/
