Hi Vrul,

This works really well and fix all the position of panel and Shift UI problem I had with 0.5.20.

I used the old config files and it works nicely as expected. The toggle window mode <--> full screen is without problems.

The only problems I have is this and it happens only when I starts the game in full screen mode:

A /reload fix it.

If I start the game in window mode and then I switch to full screen and then come back to window mode it doesn't happen.

I have put in some addons code like this:

Lua Code:
  1. -- Show the tooltip
  2.         tooltip:UpdateScrolling(GetScreenHeight()-100)
  3.         row,col = tooltip:Show()
  4.     end
  5. end

before show the tooltip I want to show the scrolling bar only if the tooltip is very looooong
But here is not the case.
Is an error by me ?

The addons that you are seeing are:

https://www.wowinterface.com/downloa...ldFriends.html

and

https://www.wowinterface.com/downloa...4335-gmLm.html

Thanks so much for this version anyway for me it is much more usable than the previous.

Try changing that code segment to:
Lua Code:
  1. -- Show the tooltip
  2.         tooltip:UpdateScrolling(UIParent:GetHeight()-100)
  3.         row,col = tooltip:Show()
  4.     end
  5. end
The reason being LibQTip uses UIParent:GetHeight() to calculate the screen height but with Shift UI enabled GetScreenHeight() will return a larger value than UIParent:GetHeight().

You also might want to try showing the tooltip first just to make sure the size has been updated:
Lua Code:
  1. -- Show the tooltip
  2.         row,col = tooltip:Show()
  3.         tooltip:UpdateScrolling(UIParent:GetHeight()-100)
  4.     end
  5. end

Hi Vrul,

thanks for your reply.

I have modified the code in this way:

Lua Code:
  1. -- Show the tooltip
  2. row,col = tooltip:Show()
  3. tooltip:UpdateScrolling(UIParent:GetHeight()-100)

and it happens the same.

The strange things it happens also if I use something like:

Lua Code:
  1. -- Show the tooltip
  2. row,col = tooltip:Show()
  3. tooltip:UpdateScrolling(1000)

Or any value you want ... it always adds the bar :/

And in this example screenshot made with "1000" I think the lenght is not > 1000.

Any idea I can investigate deeply ?

Thanks so much ...

Ah ... reading better your message I can confirm that WITHOUT shift UI there IS NO problem.

Thanks.
