Redprints

Version: 1.1.2
by: Ethan Centaurai [More]

Redprints

Are you tired of hovering over each individual blueprint in your Garrison when looking for a blueprint you have not yet learned?

Then this addon could be for you!

What it does

This incredibly lightweight addon will highlight all of the Garrison Blueprints your character knows in a colour of your choice. The default colour is red, but you can change it to green, blue or grey.

Unlearned blueprints will remain the default colour and will be easier to find.

Configuration

The colour of the highlight can be changed using typing "/redprints" followed by either "red", "green", "blue", or "grey".

Translations

This addon should work for everyone regardless of language.

It didn't until recently I admit.

ProfessionsVault has been doing it for ages but updates have been few and far between lately, so I added the feature to TradeSkillInfo a few weeks ago.

Well, if I added professions support then Redprints might not be "incredibly lightweight" anymore.

My TradeSkillInfo addon can do this for you. In fact, Redprints was inspired by that very feature!

Love the addon,

I would ADORE if it could be used to cover all recipes/plans etc that you see in the AH or Vendors

Or in fact anything that can be learnt

Version 1.1

I've uploaded Version 1.1 which allows users to change the colour of the highlight.

The default is still red, but now you can type "/redprints" followed by "green", "blue" or "grey" to change the highlight to that colour.

I've looked through the error again and I'm starting to think Extended Vendor is causing the problem. Redprints is working fine in my Horde Level 3 garrison at the blueprints vendor and salvage yard.

I have a few more things I can try but if they don't work I'll contact the author of Extended Vendor to see if he/she can find a solution.

EDIT: I installed and played around a bit with Extended Vendor but still cannot reproduce the error. In fact, Extended Vendor can already filter out known blueprints and recipes for you. I've uploaded Version 1.0.2, and if this doesn't solve your error then there is nothing more I can do.
Thanks for looking, I will test some more myself. I didn't realize that Extended Vendor did that. I still think this is a great addon. Reminds me of the Warlock one for Grimoires.

Which vendor specifically? I'll add in some protection to stop this from happening.

I get what you mean but I don't know of any ways to do that. I've never felt the need to filter vendor goods (beyond what Blizzard already offers) and haven't done any investigation.

Sounds interesting, but is there a way to make the ones the toon already knows just not show at all? Kinda like the skills/recipes at a trainer can be filtered, is what I'm getting at.
