WhisperTarget

WhisperTarget is a lightweight, standalone addon granting you a new slash command: /wt
Simply put, it whispers the message afterwards to your current target, alerting you if you don't have one.

Example:
/wt This message will be sent to my target.

With v2.0, WhisperTarget now grants two new commands:
/wf This message will be sent to my focus.
/wm This message will be sent to my mouseover.

v2.0 also finally includes the long-missing checks to see if your appropriate recipient is actually a player, and isn't an enemy.

Addon inspired by the lack of a slash command to do it.

Hey, thanks for the suggestions, and I'm glad you like the addon.
I've been taking a bit of a break from writing addons (correlated to the increase of work in my medical design coursework) but these are probably pretty easy to implement. I'll try to tackle them during my next lone-dps LFG queue that I'm not doing HW alt-tabbed

Thank you for the notification of a conflict.

Unfortunately there isn't much I can do in terms of removing such a conflict. Because /wt, /wf, and /wm are all rather short slash commands, they're likely to conflict with other addons whose authors decided to use short commands.
I generally don't justify using short commands (in order to avoid conflicts such as this), but being that these function as chat commands, a user would want them short.

I suppose I could write something into the code to check if any command is being used by something else, but I really don't want to bloat the addon with such a check.
Unless a large number of users identify that they can't handle it, I'll probably just mention the conflict on the addon description page, along with a text-editor resolution.

EDIT: I may add a few "Optional Files" addons to change either the WinterTime command or the WhisperTarget command.

I'd just like to refer anyone looking at this mod to this one, also: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info11006-MacroChatParser.html Combined, they allow the user to avoid most /script commands that would otherwise be needed to conditionally whisper other players as part of /cast macros.
