Its a nice mod but 80mb really? Maby you could make it smaller by using in game icons to make trails instead of your mspaint overlays.

Is there still support for this mod? If not, anyone know how to make the check boxes work again?

Any update for 3.3 in the works? Love the addon, but it's somewhat broken now.

Couldn't you rename "LibRareSpawns" to "RareSpawnsLib" so they are grouped next to each other in the folder?

Or is it not required at all?

Could you add the new spirit beast wolf Skoll in Storm Peaks? And possibly the rare raptors for the new pets?

Questhelper has points with a large glowing effect, it simulates zones.
Carbonite draws colored shapes on its map.
Routes makes points and link them (so in can mark the boundary of a zone)...

ATM I don't have any time to read their code... but there is many ideas

nope, sorry.

You could use the normal map (which carbonite allows you to access -- is it "shift-m" or "control-m" or something like that?).

You could go into key-bindings and bind the normal world map to something else, also.

They have "points" which isn't to my liking.

If I could figure out how to draw and fill an area of an image i would do that.

There are other solutions, cropping comes to mind -- which just requires work on my part, but I don't see it time worthy.

Another solution is chunking points in the way (I'm guessing) carbonite does its work -- I find that distasteful, but a last resort.

and then there is compression of the images. I've tried tga compression, those files are almost twice the blp files (which are supposedly uncompressed). If anyone knows how to create compressed blp files, please send me some pro tips

Basically, disk space is free these days -- i'm less interested in finding a solution that merely saves that, but am working on solutions that will overcome the problem as a side-effect.

You can hide the legend "/rso hide worldlegend"

I don't plan to support Carbonite because I don't like their license agreement.

I can't imagine that isn't plain enough for anyone.

You do realize that paragraph is NOT the agreement, right? The actual agreement is the stuff you have apparently not read.

Clarification: You are disagreeing to agree to terms that you have not actually read. On this same note, you are proliferating WoW's software by creating a addon for it, even though the license is more-or-less the same. If you have trouble understanding Carbonite's license then I have severe doubts you've read and fully understand Blizz's. And for that matter, you shouldn't be using addons at all since they are all under the protection of copyright, which, again, is basically the same thing in another fashion. Hell, the internet explorer you're using has a license agreement, yet you still use it and probably just clicked through it like 95% of people do.

Seriously, not knocking your decision to not support Carbonite. Every author is entitled to support/decline support for any mod they chose. Just don't try to hide your reasoning behind "I won't do it because I don't understand the license" as EVERYTHING is licensed in some way or another and they are all pretty much written the same way (copy/paste/change info). A simple "I don't plan to support Carbonite" will suffice.
