TotemTimers for WoW Classic

This show timers for totems, Reincarnation, Lightning Shield and weapon buffs.

Each totem timers has a flyout menu. Leftclicking a totem casts that totem. Rightclicking a totem sets that totem as default for the timer, clicking the timer than casts that totem without having to use the menu.
The large icon shows the current active totem, the small icon shows the default totem for a timer.

If you rightclick the ankh timer, you can save your current default totems as a set. You then have a menu to switch between sets.

Minor issue with Reincarnation timer

THere's a minor issue with the reincarnation countdown in SetupTrackers.lua line 198, where it's hardcoded to 1800 (30 minutes). Just need to change:

self.timer:Start(1,start+duration-floor(GetTime()),1800)

to

self.timer:Start(1,start+duration-floor(GetTime()),duration)

Pulse timers

So there's another totem timer addon with decent function, what's frustrating to me however is that between this addon and yours, neither have complete totem timers. This one has grounding pulse timer tracked but no poison cleanse or earthbind.

So basically I'm using 2 addons to track pulse timers until either of these addons include all.
Both addons have their strengths, I think the pulse timers are a bit clearer on samy's addon rather than the green timer bar on the icon itself but samy's is missing all the additional stuff for weapon imbues and reagent timers etc.

Firstly, I'd like to thank you for your continued work on this addon, it's much appreciated!

Pulse timers seem to be working correctly, other totems that pulse that could use pulse timers are Tremor totem (5sec), Grounding totem (10 sec), and to a lesser extent, magma totem (2 sec).

Would it be possible to add the option for numerical pulse timers? Basically so while the green ticking animation is going, have a numerical count down, so for example when earthbind is first dropped the tick timer starts at 5 then counts down as the green indicator animates to the top then resets with each pulse. This will making timing tremor totems for raid bosses that use fear effects more accurate/easier to time.

I understand you said having that layout with the 4 active totems isn't happening given the current set up, but if possible an option to simply disable the drop down portion of the menu would suffice.

I have to change the map library to add the range indicator back in, that will take me a while.
That proposed layout won't happen, there would be too much work involved. The four timer buttons are quite different from the menu buttons. The closest you can get is to have menus always opened. Maybe give the totem sets a try instead.

Pulse timers

Currently only earthbind seems to have the green pulse timer, however I noticed the timer does not coincide with the totems actual pulse rate, they are not in sync. It starts out about >1 second off but gets worse as the totem pulses.

Proper pulse timers for tremor/poison cleanse and grounding would be great once working.

I also noticed I don't get notification when totem is destroyed only when it 'expires'.

ButtonFacade.lua errors

The ButtonFacade.lua module generates errors, and causes the addon to not work, if you're running Masque.

I suggest you install Masque for Classic and test this and fix the problems, or remove it (as i did).

I removed ButtonFacade.lua from the .toc and commented out line 138 in TotemTimers.lua:

TotemTimers.InitButtonFacade()

Have number timer for expiration of totem as seen in image but have clock cooldown animation for pulses maybe or have pulse timer below boxes. Pulsing totems, Ebind, psn cleanse, tremor all pulse every 5 seconds, grounding pulses every 10. [edit] I see you kind of have a pulse timer for ebind already, that could work too.

Love the addon,
But it seems like it's keep reverting to the default totem instead of the one I want?

Example, I'd prefer to have strength totem over stoneskin but it keeps reverting to stoneskin?

I want to report another issue: i do not see air totem timer (there are only earth/fire/water buttons) on my 37 lvl shaman, so i have windfury indeed. (note: i have all totems enabled in configuration menu)

It always shows rank 1 totems for me too.

And it does not "grey out" totems when you don't have mana to cast them.

Very confused about the behavior of Skill Rankings. Totem and Buff bar does not always show the highest rank available for a totem or weapon buff. Is this adjustable from user end?

Everything seems to be working fine now.
But the descriptions still shows rank 1 totems.



P.S. Is there no option to grey-out totems when you don't have mana to cast them? Or am I blind?
