Hop easily from layer to layer with the simple use of a command, assuming there are others with the addon.

/L or /layer

I suggest if you use this AddOn you '/join world' and use the default settings. Layer hopping is more efficient if you have a wide array of users to hop to.

The AddOn auto invites at the use of the command with a blacklist to prevent you from getting into the same group (and thus likely the same layer).

If you want to get to the same layer you can utilize the whisper function. Whispering a person their invite message will get you invited bypassing the blacklist.

The AddOn doesn't do much magic on it's own rather than automatically invites someone asking for an invite, which the command does, the command sends a request to either a specificed chat channel ('/join layer' by default), if someone there has the addon you will be auto invited, it will also accept the next invite after the command is used. It can also send a user-hidden message through guild chat which can trigger an auto invite there.

If you don't want to see the layer channel spam:

v5:
Fixed a critical error with the blacklist sync.

Fixed an issue with declining (time comparison error, < instead of >)

Fixed cooldown being stuck at 900s.
Added blacklist sync: If a player blacklisting is invited his blacklist duration will be synced to the inviter.

Fixed blacklist issues and made it more aggressive.

ExoWoW A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 1 Uploads: 0	One of the downsides of this addon is that regular party invites get autodeclined (if the other person doesn't have QuickLayer) so you have to turn it off or on if you want to have regular gameplay, perhaps this could get added inside the addon itself. Otherwise great addon! thanks a bunch!

I don't believe Blizzard are "good" with layerhopping, especially given recent events. It seems that some think layerhopping may just be an unintended bug while others think it is a clear exploit and others don't see a problem. It's not yet clear what Blizzard's intentions are but I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Blizzard take steps to "break" this addon and any others like it once they become aware that addons are available that enable layerhopping!

Any player that gains mod just because they've been in the channel the longest can kick everyone from it and put a password on it. If you want a universal channel to use that isn't player controlled then that would be LookingForGroup.
