Features

- Choose how to group your recipes:

The standard UI automatically groups recipes by their ItemSubClass (left drop down menu), with this addon you can choose between ItemSubClass and ItemSlot (right drop down menu).

- Search Box

This addon adds a searchbox to filter your recipes. It will check the name of the recipe, the name of the reagents and the name of the groups (from the drop down menus) the recipe is in.

- Leatrix Plus Compatibility

This addon is compatible with Leatrix Plus feature that makes the profession frame larger which makes it much easier to navigate.

- Filter: Have Materials

This addon adds a checkbox to only show the recipes you can make with the materials you have.

- Filter: Has Skill Up

This addon adds a checkbox to only show the recipes that can make your skill in the profession go up.

- Craft Frame compatibility

The WoW UI uses a different frame (called CraftFrame) for some professions. This addon adds customized dropdown menus for Enchanting and Beast Training. All other features are available for these professions as well.

- Portrait Profession Icon

The standard UI puts the player's avatar in the profession's portrait frame. This addon allows to choose between the player's avatar or the profession icon.

- Portrait Tooltips

When hovering with the mouse over the profession's portrait frame the tooltip of the profession will be displayed.

- Other Custom Features

This addon is highly modular and it allows to define a lot of custom behaviours for any profession. As an example, when using Beast Training with an active pet the portrait will change to the icon of the pet's family and the tooltip will display the pet's unit tooltip. The right drop down menu also will change to highlight the family of your active pet. Filters are also customized for Beast Training.
Eventually I plan to add more customization to each profession, starting with those that need it the most like Cooking that has all the recipes in one big group.

**v0.5.0**

- Added First Aid module
- Added Mining module
- Added Poisons module
- Added Alchemy module
- Minor bug fixes

**v0.4.0**

- Fixed Leatrix Plus Compatibility
- Fixed Altoholic Confict
- Added ElvUI Compatibility
- Other minor bug fixes

**v0.1.0**

- First Full Release
- Added support for the TradeSkillFrame
- Fixed a bug with the CraftFrame DropDowns

**v0.0.3**

Engineering and Tailoring are for the recipes that are specifically for those professions, so the rocket goblin fuel (eng) and the ghost dye (tailoring)

not sure if this makes sense, but that's what I was going for
There was a list out there at one point with all the recipes that are reagants for other professions. I'll try and track it down for you.

I guess it depends on how deep you want to go with this addon.

You could create a groups for healing potions, mana potions, elixirs, and potions.

Deep dive:
  1. Reagants - You could create a group for reagants - things like elixir of wisdom, elixir of defense, blackmouth oil, and fire oil are used as a reagant for other professions.
  2. Buffs - You could create several groups that separate the types of buffs they give.

In vanilla I used RecipeRadar and X addon. I do not remember the name of the addon. That addon did what yours does as well as create a crafting queue and buy needed reagants from a vendor. TradeskillMaster does that now, but Tradeskillmaster is all about minmaxing on the AH and less about crafting.

But as someone that enjoys gathering things, crafting gear / items, enchanting them and then posting them on the AH for profit... This is perfect. I can sort and find the recipes I want to craft again.
glad you like it

I'm working on adding some more modules for the remaining professions that still need some improvement, I have First Aid, Mining and Poisons ready for the next release and I hope I can make one for Alchemy as well.

When Alchemy is done all the modules are finished (the remaining professions don't need a custom module since the blizz one works fine) and I can start focusing on adding more settings and functionality to the addon.

PS: if you have alchemy let me know, I might need some feedback on how that profession looks on classic because none of my characters have it
Sorry it took me a bit to respond, I didn't see an email alert. Anyway, I'm looking at my alchemy now and it's working.
