ZoneBriefing

Version: 1.0
by: ThePipboy [More]

ZoneBriefing is a simple add-on intended for beginners to WoW who aren't quite sure where to go once they get into a new zone. You'll often see on General:

"I'm level 12, where do I go?"
"The Barrens"

That advice is fine but this add-on goes to the next step by telling the player where all the major quest hubs and flight paths are in each zone customized to their faction.

Thank you for the quick answer!

I'll try it asap! Currently I cannot play WoW, but the weekend is coming ;-)

Thanks to Blizzard's new way of using IDs for all game elements, localization is so much easier than in the beginning! Thank you for making good use of it!

Keep Coding!

Hey there,

The zone ID is given by a function that returns both the English name and the localized name. I've used the English name for all cases, so it should work across all versions.

Eventually I'd like to have the locations just appear on your map instead of you still needing a coords mods, but that's a project for another day.

Thanks for your kind words
