Can you say exactly which versions of "AlphaMap (Fan's Update)" and "MapNotes (Fan's Update)" you are using ? They should be reported in the chat window when you log in.
Sounds like it might possibly be corruption has occurred in the MapNotes database...

I have updated the toc for the Burning Crusade Expansion pack already. The live version of WoW does not recognise that this toc is for a future version, so you may need to check 'Load out of date AddOns' in order to use the BC compliant version with the Live version of WoW.
