I love Alphamap, but your comment is very unfair, not to mention extremely rude.
First of all, all of these modules can easily be disabled. Each is in its own file and can be deleted. Use of cartographer does not restrict your choices in any way.
Second, alphamap and many of the other add-ons you listed were not the first of...

Doh! My mistake on the second part. I see why you can't execute the click on that first go around.

I noticed you scan the entire binding list on player login. I don't think that's necessary. Even though it obviously doesn't show up in the normal binding list, I'm fairly certain that it remember the binding you make. I'd also suggest executing a mounting command when you do your hijack function so that it feels like a normal ke...

That's great to hear. I think it will actually make it less confusing for the average user. You already make the actionID pretty transparent to the user in Bongos. With less action ID overlap, it should become alm...

As I understand it the system currently works as follows. Let's say you have 12 bars. The system then allocates 12 virtual pages with 10 action IDs each (120/12). So virtual page one consists of action ID 1-10, virtu...

I just want to say I love this add-on. It's always been eminently useful, but even moreso in 2.0 Great work!

Hi Tuller. I have a question/problem. I posted this previously, but I've learned that part of my logic was faulty, so I'm rephrasing it.
Now that DAB has gone the way of the dodo, I've written a utility to translate DAB layouts to Bongos layouts. I've gotten nearly everything to translate really well into your system, except on...

Coincidentally, I recently had to look this up in Blizzard's UI code for some context-sensitive nameplate switching in my UI, so here it is... :D
CVars: UnitNameOwn, UnitNamePlayer, UnitNamePlayerGuild, UnitNamePlayerPVPTitle, UnitNameNPC
For name plates, there are 2 functions and two global variable:
- ShowNameplates(), HideN...

Awesome as usual, Cirk! This will help me better configure SimpleCombatLog. (Wait a second. That's kinda like an end-user benefit ;))

Finally tracked down a Mendeleev error that I get when mousing over stuff when I first log in or reload the UI. The error:
Error: Interface\AddOns\Mendeleev\Mendeleev.lua:211: attempt to compare string with number
occurs only if I am also using Fubar RestFu. For some reason, the database that the code around line 211 is itera...

Ok, so if they're all labelled ace-2.0.0, how do we determine which is the most up-to-date one that all of them will play well with?

I am no longer getting the fubar menubar entry; it's reverted back to the minimap button since I upgraded to the latest version of BigWigs. Does this new version require Fubar 2.0? I really hope it doesn't, since I have been unable to upgrade to Fubar 2.0 due to a significant error upon login.
Also, I've noticed that I no longer...

I didn't have nor did I seem to need to use the Fubar compatibility mod in the last version, yet I still got those errors when I tried to upgrade. And I did not remove Ace1 either.
This is a shot in the dark, but I noticed that my previous Fubar folder had some *nested* folders in it that might be compatibility related (FuBar-co...

I've been looking for a replacement for TipBuddy which hasn't been updated in some time. Unfortunately, I've had several significant problems when trying TinyTip:
1) I occasionally get these weird tooltips that are normal height but the entire width of the screen. I can recreate this by mousing over something and opening or clos...

I'm occasionally getting a "Debug mod enabled" suddenly happening and a couple bars show up on the screen. Is this something accidentally left in there?

After a little restart-a-thon, I've whittled down the possible culprits. It's StatusWindows that is causing it to pull up the map upon login.

I'd be happy to help you debug this issue. I'll try to at least see if it happens on its own or is an interaction with another add-on before then.

Finally an elegant way to copy links from the chat window! Well done :) I suspect TinyURL is going to see their hits decrease now. ;)
That said, I have been getting an error that's occurring quite frequently. I think it mostly if not always happens when zoning or logging in.

Could you compare and contrast this addon with MetaMap? I'm a little concerned that Metamap is becoming too large. It already encompasses five or six separate add-ons with all sorts of knowledge base and information sharing functionality. I'm not asking which is better, since I'm sure they're both excellent; I'm just trying to fi...

I like the name, but there's already an add-on with that name, though it does something different. It attempts to minimize raid leader spam by eliminating duplicate message. It's on one of the other add-on sites.

I just had a suggestion for a new feature. I have an extra account that I have a transmuter on. I don't usually play on that account unless I'm there to transmute. Since obviously there's no way for KeepItCool to know about other accounts, perhaps there could be a feature to manually start a timer for a fictional character. Perha...

Ooh, for a second I thought this provided a special graphics over people's head at all times, not just on mouseover. If there was a way to do that, imagine the things you could do. But I guess I can understand why Blizzard would not let developers do that.
Still, cool add-on!
