This has been asked about from others too, but this requires a serious rewrite of a significant amount of code, so don't expect this to be launched any time soon as I have RL-work piling up on me at the moment.

Never heard about that. If the cursor is holding an item (no spells), and you drag the item over the LootCount interface (center square or an existing icon), small dark squares should pop up around the existing used area where the item can be dropped.

A quick look at it would make it seem like that problem could arise if LootCount is enabled and all LC plug-ins are disabled in the WoW addon screen from the character selection screen. I will look into it. As a remedy for now, enable one of the LootCount plug-ins and see if that...

Not sure I got that correctly. You have a box (like lockboxes, trunks from fishing, etc) without putting the stuff in it in your bags, and when you open it, the age is not there on the tooltip for those items except the first one?
If so, I can say that only bags, bank and guild-bank are scanned. These extra containers are not scanned...

Heh... That was exciting. I can see where it fails, but I can not reproduce it. I have tried it by normal use, and also to force the function that makes the error to execute by changing bag-contents while in combat, and I get no error. I can even see that it executes normally.
