I tried to explain it as well as I could above, but the shortened itemString is only a minor benefit of Lite Mode. The biggest benefit is the memory reduction from not storing the path to the item's texture. For every single stack of items you have, the texture would be stored. It's easy to retrieve the texture whenever it's needed,...

Thank you for the report! The first problem with incorrect stats being displayed is fixed for 2.0.2i. I'm not sure what the cause of your error is, but I will look into it and edit this post when I find out more. I may have already fixed that too. *Edit* I couldn't reproduce the error below, perhaps the fixes in 2.0.2i will...

Yes, clicking the links to see the item's tooltip or viewing the item in Dressing room will bring the item into your local cache. When you log in, Saeris's LootLink scans your cache to bring in items that it may have been unable to gather using the usual methods (looting, auction house scan, inspecting, chat links, etc.)

Dridzt, there was a problem that initially made it into 2.0.2h that caused the error you mentioned. I replaced that version within about 15 minutes but you might have caught the bad version. Please try downloading the currently posted 2.0.2h to see if that fixes the problem. If I remember right, I added a line argument = (argumen...

It seems that the instanceID (aka uniqueID) is quite important with new randomly enchanted TBC armor. Some people are starting to dig out green BOE's of level 67 or so and the interesting thing about their links is that they all seem to have negative suffixes. If you try to recreate the link with everything else but the instanceID, t...

Many expansion items are below 32000. Here's a list of new items in TBC from wowhead. Perhaps you could prioritize items with a high Item Level. You might also implement a method for searching others databases through the channel instead of randomly receiving whatever they want to send. As I said in a previous post... if I wanted eve...

Some of you still using old versions of Possessions may see an error when looting items since patch 2.0.3 was released. Please update to 2.0.2h to fix this issue. The error is caused by items which have a negative uniqueID which I did not expect. I had to release some of the new features (character data clearing, Lite Mode) a litt...

There's a small bug with the addbybasicdetails feature: Line 174 of LootLink_Main.lua calls ItemTables_AddBaseItem(baseID, rarity, itemName, true) while the function is defined as ItemTables_AddBaseItem(baseID, itemName, rarityNumber, feedback). itemName and rarity are reversed.
