Right now, you have to type /junkdrop to free up a slot. You can macro that and stick it in a button to make it easier. I'll be adding a minimap button and an LDB broker to it so you can click one of those instead. If WoW griped at you that you don't have enough room when looting, you can even use the command while your loot frame...

{Update: It doesn't make any difference if I delete or don't delete the creaturecache.wdb file.} {Edit: I use _NPCScan to look for rares. To make it effective, I delete the ..\Cache\WDB\enUS\creaturecache.wdb before running WoW. If I feel like experimenting later, I'll update this post again to indicate if that makes a difference...
