Originally posted by Everglow I really like this chat mod, it's the best I have found. I'm sure not many ppl noticed it, but the active tab logic was a little wierd, especially when using IM style chat. It was driving me nuts so I'm hoping the new system works a little better. You can see what I mean when using default blizzard chat.

Sorry for lack of updates, I've just been real busy with my RL job. Anways I'm currently working on tweaking some of the tab updates when dealing with IM style chat. It works for the most part, but the default blizzard way for selecting frames isnt very intuitive and I'm trying to remedy that. As for working with Chicchai, I mysel...

Originally posted by Toran Great addon, thanks for uploading and maintaining it. Noticed with copychat enabled (and the arrow graphics appear to the left), my font becomes a bit mangled. Seems to be artifacts surrounding some of the letters. Turned off copychat and all is good again. What font settings do you use for the chatframe.

@Skylinee Yeah your absolutely correct, and I did find the problem. I was hooking the wrong function. I've also tackled the issue of having copychat and custom timestamps enabled for the combat log. This will also clear up some strings when formatting timestamps on chat. @leks0d This is mostly being caused by the above issue....

OK i figured out the problem I shouldnt be hooking SetItemRef instead i should be hooking ChatFrame_OnHyperlinkShow. The previous was causing tainting issues which I didnt see. Currently in a break duing my 10man group, but I'll upload the fixed version post raid.

@sacrife Yeah this is partially my fault for the wording. config.flash.text doesn't actually flash the tab text, it only colors them when the TabFlash region is shown. I'd rather not put in code to flash the text as I would have to use OnUpdate to setup a timer and I wanna stay away from OnUpdate calls for this addon. @LCFHeLL v...

@Terranell Yeah, I actually plan to put this in 1.4, but I'm having trouble finding a good place to put it. Would most people prefer it below the chat tabs so it overlaps the chat frame or above the chat tabs? Suppose I could just make a config option for both. @sacrife Its possible your addon is loading before mine and blizzard...
