It's quite possible to do this, with a bit of tweaking. In fact, you could modify your preferred theme to highlight raid members by name.

The widget code is there, but it's not enabled on the Grey theme.
AND, the code that was in the spinnerwhatever.lua file was old code. Which was the reason that it wasn't loaded via XML file. See how it all comes together? ;-)

There isn't a SpinnerThreatWidget.lua file; All threat widgets are part of the same lua file.
Edit: Ok, there IS a SpinnerThreatWidget.lua file, but it's depreciated. The current version is under ThreatWidgets.lua, since they share many of the same helper functions.

Did you delete the saved variables for both Tidy Plates and Grey?
The wheel widget is only on the "Grey\Tank" theme (at the moment), so that might be a source of confusion.

No clue on why the map is resetting. Are you talking about the mini-map? As for the camera.. Tidy Plates does this:

Which I put in for my own benefit. It may be causing your issues, and can be removed without any ill effects. I will remove it from the next updat...

The old widget code is still around, but it hasn't been updated for the newest version. Still, it should work if you wanted to add it to your theme. I expect to get around to updating the widget, and including it in the Grey theme options.

Everyone plays a little differently, right? I will often use nameplates in addition to standard unit frames when raid healing. Particularly, for aiming Wild Growth for max effect. (I use hotkeys+mouseover macros)
