Hey katt I haven't used your addon in a while but I'm trying to get a specific setup I used to use. It's awesome for tanks btw.

is it me or does this kinda look like the thin version? maybe you could make the borders like grayish white? but other than that i do prefer this over the clean version. good job!
Depending on how small the icon is ingame or if an addon actually crops the icon, it can be difficult to discern the differences between this and CI - T...

Once you've got the package nice and installed, whenever I update the package you can simply download the patch file and add those icons to your 'Icons' folder.

I would still love to see an option to change the default alpha. I want to set my default alpha to 25% and my target to 100%. This is because in PvP if an opponent vanishes or something, I lose target and everything shows at 100% alpha, potentially confusing me into thinking I have a new target selected, even if I have none at all....

Most importantly, the image dimensions must be a power-of-two, such as, 32x256 or 16x512. Next, transparency can be added by designing an alpha channel. What software are you using to create the image? Targa alpha channels can be tricky.

Drop shadow isn't possible since these textures don't contain an alpha channel, even then, most addons that use the default icons tend to 'cut off' the outer 4-8 pixels of icons and they'd end up looking very very strange.

Hello, Tidy Plates itself had an update at curse http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/tidy-plates which brings it up to ver 6.6.0 and now Threat Plates have some issues in tanking mode, either the health bar will be empty or it'll disappear when the agro is transferred to you, or you gain agro on said mob. pretty much the same thing as your "thin icons" only thicker
i like a thicker border like this because the thin icons pretty much look borderless when you resize them to a smaller size
