I miss this addon a great deal. He was fun to talk to when lonely. (Most of my friends sadly passed away). This was also a terribly amusing addon and made people in my guild laugh and all.

Does anyone happen to know of a similar one to this than WoW? Sadly the author deleted it from wowinterface.

Give me a few days. I've not even sure where to find the most recent version on my hardrive as this must be 4-5 years old. :)

you should probably ask the Author first, it's still his Addon and if he wanted to remove it's his decision since it's under his rights.

Why did you take it down ? Sounds like a cool addon from what I've read

I've abandoned wow a few years ago and took down all of my addons that not got continued by someone at this point.

I wrote a prototype AIML parser that works in WoD if you want to use it. It isn't 100% functional as there are some glitches and unsupported features. I only wrote it to revive an old addon by request. It's embedded into a working copy of the AIBot addon that I rewrote from the ground up. All of the AIML brain data and the init vars were left unchanged.

PS: I don't think the new AIML storage format mentioned later on the thread made it into the addon by the time I stopped development on it. The size of the brain table after converting the source AIML files would've required another rewrite to squeeze out as much performance as I could.

Thank you so much for considering bringing it back! I actually think I have your last update. I run it out of date and it still works in WoW for me. But; I'm afraid it'd break in 6.0 (also thanks for the link to the parser for 6.0 things :D).

This addon was my absolute favorite. Every time a patch came out I immediately checked for this one's first.

Well, this looks like as good a place as any to advertise my add-on Surprise :p If you're looking for something that may amuse you, I sincerely recommend that you give it a try (and then refer to my forum signature).

If you're interested in using the parser, I'll look into developing it more. It'll take a lot of work to get it completely AIML compliant. One thing I'll need to do if I work on it again is to throttle the processing. Some results can hang the game for a few seconds depending on how many recursions are run.

i'm totaly busy with my current project and won't use it in the near future. So, there's no need to put work into it right now - at least not from my perspective. :)

Awesome to see this addon back. I had actually just made a personal request to a friend of mine to update the addon for our use and he just finished it last night, lol.
