Tooltip problems
 

hi everyone....

my tooltip is not shown at the mouse

I try to config it with the command but it dosnt work pls help

If you want the tooltip to show at the mouse, you need to use the command '/nui tooltip mouse'

i used this command already but it dosent work

What other mods do you have installed?

i tested it also only with nui is loaded
but no effect..
btw its only the tooltip that comes up when you hover over other plyer npc or the bank for example..
but the actionbar tooltips are at the mouse

Oh... okay... nUI has no control over that tooltip. I believe there is a setting in the WoW interface options menu though for that.

By the way... you have a *TON* of redundancy in your addon list, you're aware of that, right?

For example... you have three different bug grabbing tools... !Swatter, !BugGrabber and BugSack. You also have XPerl and Bartended, neither of which should be needed with nUI. Another one that jumped out at me was both Gatherer and GatherMate as well as both Prat and WIM.

You might want to seriously consider doing a clean install to clean up all the excess addons you likely aren't using anymore. See this post for instructions on how to do that: http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=21716

That may be true... but neither needs !Swatter to be sure.

I have !BugGrabber, Bugsack, and !Swatter in my addons folder. The first two do work together - the first gets the error, the second displays it. !Swatter is in there only because it's part of Auctioneer. I never turn it on, I use the other two. Having it in the addons folder doesn't hurt anything.

If it matters any... having it the adds folder means it does get loaded... it just doesn't get executed. Or, at least that's what the empirical evidence I've seen implies.

Yeah. Horror of horrors, it takes up some extra RAM! I don't have a problem with that, and I suspect that many of those who are concerned about addon RAM usage probably shouldn't be.:eek::banana::banana:

I've actually found some problems in that system though because the functions get created, just not executed. However, if the function names are "right" suddenly code you don't expect to see executing is. I've had that happen several times.
