Skinnable/Salvage/Minable

Is there an function in the API to determine wether a dead npc can be skinned/salvaged or mined by the player?

I guess what i'm looking for is something simple like IsSkinnable("target","profession")

I know that some use tooltipscanning, but i was hoping to avoid doing that...

could not find API for that, just lists

mining: http://www.wowhead.com/npcs&filter=c...bcrs=1%3bcrv=0
herbalism: http://www.wowhead.com/npcs&filter=c...bcrs=1%3bcrv=0
engineering: http://www.wowhead.com/npcs?filter=cr=44;crs=1;crv=0

but implementing that is probably worse than tooltip scan

yep. thats worse ::rolleyes:

Thanks for the info.

and as i said, i have no clue what it is exactly :P, just results of my search

Look at the title of the sub-forum you found it in: "WoW Memory Editing"
Since this is a) forbidden in WoW and this forum and b) bannable, don't even think about that any further.
And the link you posted belongs to an emulator.

yea, i know, but that does not makes data from creaturecache spooky or something :)
but yea, i should stop at first answer from semlar
