Carbonite interface
 

hey.. I am having trouble with the carbonite map. It is not displaying at all on the interface any longer. I have infopanel carbonite and infopanel carbonite (continued) loaded and reloaded them this afternoon to ensure up to date. Any thoughts on why the map isn't showing? Oh yes, I loaded the newest version of Carbonite as well.. ..

I would expect that (a) you should use only the carbonite info panel or the carbonite continued info panel, not both. Also, make sure the "load out of date addons" option is checked in the addons menu.

I think it is carbonite.. I removed infopanel carbonite (continued ) and this removed it from the interface. i put the older version in and its there again but no map display. I am not thinking it may be carbonite. I will continue to mess with it and see how it goes as updates become available.

Nah - I think it's WoW maintenance-related.
My bf & I are both not getting the carb map, with either the old version or the latest.

Sometimes wow manages to screw things up to the point that all the addon makers have to go a-tweakin for a day or so...

If during one of their patchathons they managed to make the wowmap not suck quite so bad, we could at least survive til carbonite got tweaked -
but noooo...

Carbonite's 'map' is broken, plus a few other things, also the TOC for Carb hasnt been updated... the authors have had life issues, and (last I heard) were working on it, just it might be a bit before a new Carb is out...

Please look to carbonite's own website and support forums for more info.

Just so all know.. I loaded the Carbonite Beta and everything works fine. seems the older version is totally broke and the beta is working. i have found some slight Carbonite issues, but nothing to get all bent over. just wanted to let all know as Carbonite is widely used.
