what is this threat line from? (moved from UI feedback thread)

Um.. anyone know what's making this threat line show up? I think it's from Haleth's !FreeUI addon, but I can't find an option for it anywhere in the lua. Also checked oUF (using Carebear's UI) but nothing mentioned in the lua there either.

It's not coming from Carebear's UI, that's for sure. Unless it's an experience bar, but it sure looks like a threat bar. What exactly are all of the addons you're using? If you're using FreeUI with CareUI's oUF then it's probably aThreatMeter which is included with FreeUI.

You will find this IS the treat meter from FreeUI. To disable it open the FreeUI.toc file and delete the line: scripts\threatmeter.lua
Hope this helps.

Lily, I used imgshack cause it was the only one that would make the screenshot look slightly ok. Suggestions on another one to use would be great.

Thank you :) I'll try that out.

imgur = win imho. I use a fantabulous Chrome extension written for it.

Edit: for unedited UI shots WoWI's attachment feature is more fantabulous.

imgur is nice only if you like your images presented in jpeg format with horrible compression. I simply have an account at imageshack and paste links directly to my images that I upload. The images I upload are at least the actual images that I uploaded, not some post-processed image.

I use imageshack, since I post my stuff as PNG's... but I also don't link to the "image info page", I link directly to the image itself. :)

Than you good sir, are doing it right. Attachments on this site work very well, it takes less time and uploads them in your format too :)

I couldn't get it to upload here in PNG, that is why I just linked straight from imageshack. I edited it in a paint program on my comp and it must have default saved to PNG. And I linked from what I thought was the "main" image, but it seemed to jump back to the first "smaller" image instead. /shrug

@Seerah, sorry about that. I didn't realise I'd posted in the wrong place!

Seerah 05-09-11 08:21 PM

PNG is a supported format. Though there is a max file size of 2MB.

And no problem. You guys keep me on my toes. ;)

Ah, that might be why. 2.8MB, though it just kept saying it wasn't supported or invalid file extension, I think. Alls well!
