Quest module hangs WoW, but only on SOME toons
 

I have a new one on the quest module front. The last few downloads from github cause WoW to hang as soon as the quest module loads, but only on a couple of my toons (so far). I've confirmed this by disabling all but Carbonite, still hangs. If I then disable Quest, all is well on those toons. I've removed all Carbonite folders from AddOns and re-applied the github version, cleared saved variables (both for those toons and then all toons), same result. If I go back to the version currently on Curse, it works. No debug messages as it hangs WoW completely to the point I have to alt-tab and kill it from Task Manager. Lvl 51 ally warrior in the Shrine, lvl 49 horde warlock in ORG. I can try and move them out of heavy CRZ and see if it happens 'in the field' if that might help.

For now, I'll continue with the latest github version and just avoid those toons, or disable quest when I play them, as I'm in need of the WQ fix on my 110s.

Hoping this sheds some light on the recent Quest module weirdness. At the least it may give a starting point to see what's changed in Quest since the version on Curse.

This is happening to me on my paladin character. I just started the Draenor content on him, and if I try to load the character with the Carbonite addon enabled, my game hangs to the point that it crashes. I too am running the newest version that fixed the fps issues.

Try using Carb from this link https://github.com/mikepauer/Carboni...3abd3a29ce.zip this is before latest Rythal commit with makes some kind of problems and need to be fixed. This version loads good for me.

Game Client Freezes on Logon
 

I am having the issue where if Carbonite Quests is enabled on logging into a character the game client freezes. If I disable Carbonite Quests, all works fine.

What I was providing was the actual version and build number that was experiencing the issue since "latest build" can change daily. But if you don't want that information, I'll just keep quiet.

Latest build is on github... release on curse is not often updated. I wrote about this thread problem in my post that i quote here. U can also read or post issues on GitHub, to get help.

This is free addon and u cannot expect that every one will help u, especially when u dont read what we are writing to others.

I don't update from curse, I only update from the link in your signature. I check the build daily. Well, that can't be helped.

I guess you are determined to mis-interpret what I wrote. So all I will say is thank you for what you do. This addon is awesome and all the work you do for it is greatly appreciated. :)
