Anyone know about updates?
 

There are quite some AddOns which I, as a UI freak, miss dearly. Does anyone know if they will be updated, can't be updated, are discontinued, etc?

- FlexBar
- InventoryHawk
- MiniGames Pack (Multiplayer)
- ShadowCancel

If you know any mods which are similar to one of these, please tell me too, I'd like to try those then :) would really love to see these updated.

I think Ludwig is similar to LootLink.
Carthographer might do for you instead of MetaMap.
Bongos might be an alternative to Flexbar
And you may give TrainerFu a go in stead of TrainerSkills.

Flexbar2 is on the wowace.com SVN and looks like it's being actively worked on (updated 20th Dec).

WhisperCast is dead, it's no longer possible to auto target or cast with any addon.

BugMeNot from wowace.com does the same as FilterAFK.

TrainerSkills - In the comments of TrainerSkills (continued) over on Curse someone has posted today (23/12) saying he has an updated TBC version ready to upload. Failing that, School on wowace may fit the bill (or as already suggested, TrainerFu if you use Fubar).

HealSync also appears to be on the wowace SVN, but there's no real indication that it's working or actively being worked on. It's been updated to run in 2.0 but forum posts suggest it's not currently doing what it's supposed to.

Saeris's Lootlink might work for you instead of Telo's Lootlink:

Thanks so much for the replies :) I downloaded Cartographer yesterday, it's decent too, just miss the Destination arrow thingies. I got Saeris' Lootlink just after the patch aswell, but it's just not the same to me ^_^ I heard that WhisperCast-like mods would still function after the patch but just not in combat, but apparently not :( too bad

I love you Barras ^^ will see if those mods work now :)

I can't even access the world map anymore now I installed MetaMap...
(EDIT: Now I relogged it works perfectly... So strange. ;/)

I installed HealSync, but nothing happens, it's just as if it wouldn't be there.

Isn't that an Alpha version that requires knowledge of LUA to use? That's the last one I saw up.

Bongos is a decent replacement, I'm using it atm. I just miss some of the custom abilities of Flexbar.

It's what I use on my mage. For my priest, I'd just prefer to keep my current actionbars with a few FlexBar buttons as an addition.

Neither bongos nor bartender can be match for flexbar. If u think so, then its obvious that u were not using flexbar efficient.

Trinity Bars is also a very good action bar replacement.

Like I said, I don't need a bar replacement, I tried many, and use BarTender on my mage. But I want FlexBar back for just a few small additions to the default actionbars.
