Calling Mac users for a few questions
My dear fellow Mac users,
We've gotten hit with the "mac bug" were our FPS stays rather good but we have visual stuttering; but let's let that slide for a moment. I have a slightly different question: When I play WoW, I of course have the WoW icon in my Dock, as well - all Mac users do. Now, seeing as my Dock is on the bottom center of my monitor, and my action bars are too - this happens: In Game, I use mainly key binds and have 2 skills I may click on AB7 and AB8, coincidentally that's where the WoW Icon is on my Dock. Now - I hit shift and click those skills, I am presented with my desktop. I have NO clue why or how, nothing special is enabled in my System Prefs and if I move the WoW icon - it's different buttons of course. I've tried: - Hiding the Dock (autohide) - Making sure no accessibility options are set - Hotcorners. hotkeys all disabled - Disable OS keybinds in WoW I genuinely have no clue. It only happens with the WoW Icon. |
I have no idea...my Dock is on the left side of my screen... >.>

Would you mind testing if you get the same results? It's driving me mad... To the point where I've reduced my ABs even more so I can't go wrong :P |
Are you running in full screen mode? If not then that may be the issue as I've experienced this as well.

I've never had the issue whether in fullscreen or fullscreen windowed. I move my mouse to the side of the screen where my Dock is located quite often, as well.

No, seriously, I don't get it. Now that I've hidden the icon - or rather set to not keep in the dock - it still occurs. I'll give Kaelten a prod too, he uses Mac too :P |
