Mini Map woes

Lost my mini map. Can;t find any help on google. Gotta have that little booger to keep from getting lost. I am indeed a noob and an old one at that. Help.

Are you using an addon for your minimap, or to move frames around? What do you get when you put these in chat?

/dump Minimap:IsVisible()

and

/dump Minimap:GetPoint()
