Drag and drop raid sort
 

I can't remember if I saw this was coming in nUI 6, but it would be really nice to be able to drag and drop to resort the raid frames rather than group/class/name.

I'm not talking about changing the group number they are in - only where they appear in the raid frames.

Wow... that would be interesting... I'm gonna have to think on that one.

I like the concept of it though.

To expand on rationale:

Let's say you are a healer, and you want your tanks in the top row starting from the left. Next to them you want the slightly under geared player that may need a little more attention, and you want to put the idiot that always stands in fire in the bottom right corner since everyone knows you can't heal stupid.

I don't know enough about how addons work, but if in a 25 man raid frame for example, if each "box" has a unique number 1-25, the pre-programmed sorts assign the player to the appropriate numbered slot. The concept would be to Ctrl-Click and drag to put peole to where you want them, overriding the default sort. You could add a /nui sortreset command or something to go back to the default, or have it reset on a new group.

I guess it might get a little hairy when people leave group and a new person comes in. But hey, that's why you are the programmer and I'm not, right? :D

Now... if only the American voters would figure that out.

The problem there is a huge number of voters, well, stand in fire....

You'd think that standing in the fire long enough would dwindle the huge number of voters standing in fire pretty... drastically..
