buff right click error
 

Scott I didnt see this bug yet for anyone, I know the right click for menus didn't work.... but tried to right click off the halloween buff and got this error...

Yup.... this is a known bug. No ETA for the fix yet though.

I'm stuck as a wisp :-o Any way for me fix this temporarily other than logging out, disabling nui, logging back in?

I didnt know if it was related to the other right click menu problem....

I seen on other places they stated /cancelaura to get rid of unwanted buff.. So for the Jack-o'-Lanterend! you would type /cancelaura Jack-o'-Lanterend! not sure how you would use that in NUI. It worked for me

yes /cancelaura worked... ;) just type the aura exactly as it is...

ie to get rid of the pirate costume... would be...

/cancelaura pirate costume

No... the reason the right click isn't working on auras anymore is that Blizz protected the function that does that because people were using it to bot. The moved auras into the secure header code section and I have to rewrite how my auras work to use secure headers... a non-trivial change. It's going to take me a bit to fix it.

Ah... okay... they sure didnt make this patch easy for you to redo nUI did they?

blizzard buffs
 

Is there anything I can edit in lua to make the blizzard buffs appear too? I'd like to be able to right click buffs off from there well I wait for a fix.

That's likely going to be my temporary fix in the next update is to rip out my auras and just relocate the Blizz auras until I can fix the problem correctly in nUI6.

I thinking about the same. We even can use buff addon's w/ already fixed buffs in a time you finishing nUI6. Have no time to play and see how different nUI6, but looking forward.

There should be no problem with leaving a party if you are running 5.07.05 (Development) -- that is fixed... the issue with canceling auras remains though.

That's because it's spelt wrongly.

Should be
/cancelaura Jack-o'-Lanterned!

that should work, the buff has to be spelt *exactly* how it shows on screen.

That's the same thing... just means that you aren't running any error trapping mods like BugSack or Swatter.

As indicated earlier, just follow those above given directions and those halloween buffs should to go away.:banana::banana:

spiel2001, Can you point me to the right way to switch off self auras, plz?
