Just figured I would try minion again, it had been years since i tried it..

installed
ran
found addons
found updates
installed 1
failed at 2 (lightheaded and another)
removed ElvUI entirely..
removed 2 other needed addons.

end result...

never uninstalled a program from my pc with such glee and swiftness

(p.s.) still recovering from this blunder.

Hate if you want... but i am just being informative.

Why even bother reporting a problem if you're not going to provide any information the software creator(s) can use to fix the problem? If some addons aren't being handled correctly, the names of those addons seem like some obviously important pieces of information to include. If something "failed", what was it? Just saying "it doesn't work" is worse than not saying anything at all. :rolleyes:

Could you please provide your minion0.log, minion.xml and maybe a clearer list of what you were doing and what AddOns you were trying? Finding your minion0.log and minion.xml pretty easy, just follow the information in this post: http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=49961. It will help us greatly. Although if you fully un-installed the client then those are probably deleted by now, sadly.

Unfortunately there isn't really any useful information I can find in your post, other than lightheaded failed (the log file should say why). Its not failing for me so the minion0.log would help me understand why its failing for you. So if you ever have the time to test it again please remember to save those files and maybe document the issue a little better :(

Thanks for beta testing Minion. If you ever have some more time I'd like to work with you on this and better undertand the issues you had. If you don't have the time thats totally understandable and appreciate you posting your experience at the very least. Maybe we will get it working for you in a future release as we continue with Minions development. :)
