Find quest IDs associated to NPCs
 

Hello.

I'm trying to find a way to extract the quest IDs associated to NPCs that have a lockout.
For example, the NPC "Uncle T'Rog" has the associated quest ID "55538". Is there any function to help me out to find quests IDs associated to a NPC ID?

There is no direct way to find an NPC's associated quest. What add-on authors do to discover daily/weekly lockouts is to query all completed quests before killing an NPC and then querying again after, comparing the two to find out what changed. Keep in mind that when you get this queried table, it includes ALL quests completed. An older character, especially a loremaster, will have a large table.

I thought that there would be another solution to track this quest ids, but well... we only need to discover them once ;)
