deleted because people call you troll for a legitimate question.

Obvious troll is obvious...

I don't see why it wouldn't be...

You can use pet to pull mobs trough the "phase" by standing on the zone change edge and well, doing your thingy. ^^

Doubt it's banable at all. :P

Seerah 05-20-11 08:29 PM

Now, if you're taking advantage of and exploiting a glitch like that... Then that's not a good thing.

Well there is some quest in Uldum with elite mobs, phasing and good drops. But only if you don't finish that quest.

Kind of off the topic a little bit but, is there a way, to reliably detect if someone that is in your group is phased via the wow API?

Rilgamon 05-21-11 07:28 AM

I would guess so. In a group you see this blue dot when someone is not in the same phase.

Nobgul 05-21-11 07:32 AM

Do you know if there is a range limit on it?

Vlad 05-21-11 11:05 AM

UnitInPhase

Not sure if there are others, basically it means "he is phased" or perhaps "he is not in your phase"? One of the above.

Crissa 05-22-11 12:14 AM

I find it a bit annoying that good drop (or only drop) mobs often are found on one-time phases.

Personally, I'd love to be able to rewind to some of the phased battles, if only because they were so fun!
