Do you use the Skada addon? Do you enjoy a minimalist UI and/or just want to hide it? This addon allows you to "embed" the Skada window(s) into a chat frame. That way, when you want to view the meter, all you need to do is select the corresponding chat tab. If you have more than one Skada window set up, you can use more than one chat tab.

Don't be obsessive about those bars, and only look at them when you want to. You can get this addon here.
