percent hp (and other tags) not updating
 

I used a heavily modified oUF_Karma. Many of my tags do not update on player bars, such as HP percentage, or status (offline/afk) unless I re-target a unit or reloadui etc. It does not update on interval or seems to not be tracking an event, I assume. Can someone point me about where or what I might look for to begin tracking down the issue. I've been over the files many times but cannot seem to find the right spot.

Without seeing your actual code none of us can really pinpoint a solution for you.
My 1st guess would be to make sure the tags have the correct events tied to them.
