Actionbar border texture fading

I'm using an old texture pack from Santa UI Textures for my actionbars.

Problem is they keep reseting to default when I open spellbook or move spells/macros. I saw some people commenting on the same problem on various forums but with no answers.

After moving a spell or opening spellbook (reverts to default borders)

Afaik its the UI-Quickslot.blp controlling the actionbar borders. But maybe I am missing another texture file. I'm not sure.

Anyone know what could cause this or a possible fix?

I am not very good at this but, I have read textures are handled differently now (the default ones) since 8.0.1 - the game could very well be seeking the new texture and finding it perhaps due to outdated code?

You could use rButtonTemplate to apply your texture. I use it to style most of the buttons in my UI.
It hooks the SetNormalTexture function in case it resets.
