Hijacking chat channel

I noticed since I installed beta v 7 I am not logging in as General Chat channel 1 but as Channel 2 whereas I see Carbonite's own chat channel in channel 1 as CrbB1 and CrbZ2020I1 in Channel 7.

I tried using the following script to reset the channels

/script LeaveChannelByName("General")
/script LeaveChannelByName("Trade - City")
/script LeaveChannelByName("LocalDefense")
/script LeaveChannelByName("GuildRecruitment")
/script LeaveChannelByName("LookingForGroup")

This works only until I leave the Carbonite channels also. Not sure what's happening here.

I had to turn "Enable Global channel" and "Enable Zone Channel" off in "Carbonite -> Privacy" in order to stop this (was breaking another addon that posts into /1 :( )

SAme Here, but this Bug is since Beta 5 in CB ;)

Yeah it happened when I redid the timers to use acetimer, the channel join is triggering to fast and happening before the UI joins the default channels, i'll try increasing it.

Same thing is happening to me. Good to see the issue is known and it is being resolved!

It's May 13 and the issue still exists. Any word on a fix?

hasn't happened to me in 2 alpha's since I added the delayed timers.

I think it all depends on how fast your computer can load the WoW client...

For example..
My laptop is slow as hell and trade sometimes pops up in /3, yet my friend's pc is super fast and trade is always in /2.
We are running the same version of Carb.

Interesting... I guess I can do a recursive timer, and if channel 1 is not currently populated, try again later. I'll try it for next alpha.

That would be awesome!

It happened to me on Monday and Wednesday, but not Tuesday! :S
