If you edit [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts...

If you edit [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts > Default > HUDLayouts > {hud mode} > nUI_HUDSkin_{hud mode}_Castbar.lua ] and look for where it says "cur_time =" then add the following block above...

That is already doable if you're willing to edit...

That is already doable if you're willing to edit the layout file for it... cast bars support current time, total time and percent time.
