Config.wtf doesn't explicitly include any region info anymore, but just changing the installLocale to enUS to log into US servers, or deDE to log into EU servers, works. Other locales probably work,...

You don't have to manually create a trial account. Just log into US servers directly via Wow.exe and one will be created for you.
