Lua textbook?

Can you recommend any entry level lua textbook that will help me with creating simple addons and read and edit some existing ones.

[classic] Any addon that will add certain macro to all hotkeys?

For example I want /startattack on every hotkey, but I dont want to waste macro space.

Or other example is vael fight, when it very handy to have /cast heroic strike added in few abilities.

/cast !Defensive Stance not doing the trick. It was working with druid stealth in WoD for me.

Im currently trying to choose most populated realm, and for this purposes I think it is a good metric, that is hard estimate by eye, but in default interface any numbers are. There are no numbers.
