It sure would be nice if people were just "putting logic on the table," but that's not all that was going on. I found the tone taken pretty rude and dismissive... that doesn't mean that I agree with all (or even most?) of what Galactica posted. If one would just state one's opinion, fine, if they build a logical case, even better, but I don't feel that's not what was going on. Don't act like an authority when you aren't one; that's all I was saying. It's not ad hominem. I mean, you say:

How do you know that? I've seen enough of how business and the law intersect to see
some correlation there, though not to the degree some indicated.
Edit: Sorry, Seerah. I only posted this because my above post without this reasoning can lead people to the wrong conclusion.
