The trick with dominos is just to play with the size, padding and spacing a bit.
Trick with SBF is I use a scale of 1.0 on every bar, but I manually enter a icon size. The difference between 30 and 31 can be quite big for borders. And play with the x and y spacing too.

The runmod is textyRunes with ofcourse the same font as my unit frames and indeed just placed on top of my UF so it looks as if it's just another text string.
It's all years of fiddling to make it work.

You did not answer me though. Put my unitframes on hold. I need to know what kind of font and size you are using.
And also, what is this bloom effect everyone is talking about?
